About me:

Where I am I going? That’s a question I’ve been trying to answer for myself, so I probably can’t give you that good of an answer. First, let's discuss where I've been recently. I've had four years of college (or 'university' if you're a Brit), but there were two years between the third and fourth years of college. Despite this, I still don't have a degree yet. I've majored in Biochemistry for three years, then it was Biology for a semester and History for the next semester. The current plan is to try getting into a nursing program (RN) for Spring 2010, but if I can't get into some of the prerequisites this summer, that might not work out.

Now for some facts about me that might be more useful to you. I built my most recent desktop computer, I’ve been running Linux since January 2005, I’ve been knitting for almost fourteen years, and I’m a rabid music collector (yes, I love vinyl). I've also recently taken up concert photography (take a look here if you're curious). I also haven’t had a particularly good track record with romantic relationships (ha...what romantic relationships?). If you’d like to bribe me, I’d suggest dangling a rare music item, some nice yarn, or a shiny new tech gadget under my nose. (Okay, you might want to be wary of what kind of tech gadget you pick...I’m especially picky when it comes to sound devices...hint: Rio Karma, Sennheiser, and Shure = good; iPod and Bose = bad). I promise that in spite of my eccentricities, I don't actually bite (or at least no one can prove it).

Confused yet? Yeah, so am I.

..

Who I'd like to meet:

Weird people--preferably those with brains.

If I don't know you from somewhere else and you don't write me a message along with your friend request, I reserve the right not to add you. If you can't write complete sentences and use proper grammar (hint: use "you're" or "you are" instead of "ur") in your message to me, let alone write an entire paragraph...don't waste your time and mine.

Now with 100% more 'XTRMNT!'

    Hey S,
So glad to finally get to meet you. It was great getting to rock out with you in Houston and v glad Leo was able to help you out with a place to crash. It was nice getting to know you. Sorry we didn't get a proper goodbye.

We did see you rocking out with your halo on during Halo in Dallas. Wasn't that show the best?? For your first couple shows you couldn't have picked them better!!

I'll be sending you some pics soon. Until then...

    -K.

    Hey :)
    Thanks for the add.
It's nice to meet another non-Brit who actually knows Fry & Laurie, not to mention LIKE them!
I see you are into a lot of British stuff in general (especially music). It's a refreshing taste for an American girl, but I guess you could say the same about an Israeli girl too:)
Hope you won't be too harsh on my English... It's only my third language but I'm doing my best :)

Oh hi! I don't know if you remember but I'm on PTF under the same username (cept without the MCRmy | PTreehugger part).

We talked about getting a vintage turntable and student loans.
