People have said that Spirit'n'Jazz sound like Herbie Hancock, Weather Report, Pink Floyd, Camel but Music is so subjective depending on mood and time of day, the best thing you could do is have a listen and decide for yourself :-)

With a twelve year co-operation in song-writing and music-production involving English and German musicians this new Jazz-project is growing and moving towards a position in which improvised music is expresing more than the musicians themselves could have ever imagined.
This musical idea was born from the need to create music that highlights the bridges that exist between us all, in all our many different ways of living and believing.
After talking about various ethical, philosophical, economic and spiritual themes, usually over dinner, The musicians start to jam improvising together. The musical pieces, which are born, are usually very strong in expression, enabling the listener to picture the themes behind them.
Music as an emotional and spiritual medium does not deliver definitions, In todays political and economic world this seems to be needed more, particularly in the area of relationships between all faiths and cultures.
The CD "Can You See...?" addresses this in the CD booklet. where there are for each of the tracks, refrences to quotations from both the Bible and Koran, in order to make the thoughts of the musicians more transparent to the listener and to show the commonality in both religions..
Music as the "Voice of Reason" (track 7) in a difficult and chaotic world?
Jazz has as a possibility for a dialogue on the platform of emotions.
Musical communication instead of the Clash of Civilizations.
The title "Can you see...?" posses the questions:
Can you see those bridges that link us...?
Can you see that which we all have in common...?
Can you see the cultures of love...?

“…an album fizzing with fresh ideas and delights, an exhilarating musical journey .. with brilliantly original writing and inspired playing…” -- Helen Mayhew
"Every track from the rhythmic ‘NY Cab Ride’ and restless ‘4 Wheel Drive’ to the brooding ‘Mae’s Song’ has a terrific hook but it’s the way Mason switches tempo and moods that makes ALH great fun. " -- Diva Magazine
