Spirit of infinity est un groupe de métal progressif symphonique basé dans les Yvelines.
L'histoire de ce groupe remonte a 2005 lorsque les deux guitaristes ,décident de créer un groupe mélangeant la musique classique ,et le métal progressif.
Fin 2005 Caroline rejoint le groupe en tant que claviériste/ arrangeur ,s'en suit une longue période de composition ,avec l'arrivée de nouveaux membres ,Virginie, Youssef et Kurt respectivement ,chanteuse ,batteur et bassiste.
2006 marque une période sombre pour certains membres ce qui entraine une recomposition du premier album "Destiny" et la création d'un second album " Killed By The Hand Of God" tout deux assez sombres.
Le départ de deux des membres compromet l'avenir du groupe ,mais l'arrivée d'une nouvelle chanteuse ,Coralie, ainsi qu'un nouveau batteur Romain ,permet au groupe de se relancer et explorer de nouveaux horizons musicaux comme le death métal et le math métal entre autres...
2008 le groupe en pleine composition achève l'album "Destiny" et "Killed By The Hand Of God" ,viendront deux nouveaux albums plus surprenant sur le plan musical.
2009 le début des premiers enregistrements commencent.
Spirit Of Infinity is a progressive symphonic metal band from The Yvelines (near Paris).
The story of the band began in 2005 when two guitarists, decided to make a band that mix the classic music and the progressive metal.
In the end of 2005, Caroline joined the band as keyboardist/arranger, then began a long period of composition.
Three persons joigned the band,Virginie (vocals),Youssef (drums) and Kurt (bass guitar).
2006,was a dark year for some members and which caused the recomposition of "Destiny" and the writing of a second album" Killed By THe Hand Of God", a dark album too.
The walkout of two of the members damaged the future of the band but a new singer Coralie came into the band and a drummer Romain,enable the band to relauch and explore new musical horizons like death (brutal death) and the math metal among others...
2008 Spirit Of Infinity is wrote and finalized "Destiny" and "Killed By The Hand Of God", and two news albums more stunning musically.
