26 years it is now since Spirit of the West found they get paid for pubbing! A quarter century of recordings, performances, road trips, tall tales...

Having gestated songs such as Political, The Crawl, (and if) Venice is Sinking, Save This House, (Is This) Where I Come In, Sadness Grows, Williamson's Garage, Mildred, Goodbye Grace, Profiteers, Take It From The Source, Thieves At Rock's Bay, Homelands, Room Without A View, Far Too Canadian, Happy New Year, Unplugged, Keeping Up With The Joneses, Canadian Skye, Bath Abbey, The Wedding Speech, Armstrong and the Guys, Rites of Man, Pin Up Boy, Bone of Contention, ..., Five Free Minutes, We Are The People of the Frozen North, and the classic internationally loved anthem Home For a Rest... Spirit of the West is helmed by Geoffrey Kelly (of Spirit of the West) John Mann, Vince Ditrich, and Hugh McMillan; very special guests include the redoubtable Tobin "the gull" Frank, Linda McRae, Daniel Lapp, and original coconspirator J. Knutson, Steak Andersson of the supergroop ABBA, Ben Kelly, Harlan Mann, Sam Ditrich, Kiaran McMillan, the Proclaimers, The Town Pants, Great Big Sea, Bare Naked Ladies, Emm Griner, Captain Tractor, The Waltons, Oscar Lopez, James Keelaghan, Matt Harder, Paul Hyde... the list does in fact "go on"...
