The Spirits of the Earth is the ethereal viewpoint of
Tim Stokes - (ex Bevis Frond Roadie & founder
member of both The Tombstone Salad & Planet Rohn), Ciaran (Voice/Jack Daniels Distillery/Aria)
and Kie de-Courci - (Voice/DFP/Kashmir Black founder)
the idea came around initially in 2002 and left to simmer.
The influences come from the likes of Hawkwind, UK Subs,
Monster Magnet, Ozric Tentacles, UK Underground/Festival
scene and the Ether. A spirit of Allo (Brock style) lurks in there
too. The project has come about because of an undying passion
for space-rock and the ether and will exist to support that.
