Doug Dodge, as my partner in crime we have disected music since we were idots but we have learned and grew so much together. Wait until you see what he can do..I'll make him show you!...my Dad for teaching me Johny Cash riffs when I was a kid. He'd ask me for my guitar every time I'd try to play it and then I wouldn't see it back for an hour or more while he ignored me. So, I sat and watched every move he made. Now that was influential..The beauty is, I get to do that to my son now.....Life, a washing machine, You put a pair of sneakers in the dryer and I'll write a song to it...silence, the toilet, insomnia, the abundance of phsycidelics stored in my spinal column, "Fates Warning" ( Thanks for letting me see from the inside!) and "Xanax25"
Random thoughts written in a notebook accompanied by 2 hands and 2 feet placing various melodic and rythmic patterns to those thoughts while angry nieghbors bang on the ceiling. 17 circus clowns in a little car. A warped colliope with bad reads. Hind sight.

Tribe is a work in progress. Feel free to check in periodically to view progress and watch the writing process as it develops. Most songs will be renewed in stages as more instruments are added and as the mixing process progresses. The Tribe consists of only myself right now, singer, song writer Todd Cote on these recordings. I have recently added some new members to the tribe and we are still looking for a drummer with good feel and off color stylings. If your interested and you feel you’d make a good fit please contact me or send me your online bio and samples....Peace, love and exit music...
I have also been the singer for the band "Live Bait" as well as singer songwriter for the band "Window Pane". I am currently the drummer for the band Colonel Colliope.
Thanks for listening and I hope you enjoy!
Hello how are you? I just wanted to let you know that I have just finished producing a yoga, meditation & relaxation album titled “Surrender of The Mind”
Surrender of The Mind is written for those of us who need to get away. Maybe we have had a tough day at work. Maybe we have studied hard. Maybe we need to reflect on certain events in our lives. Maybe we just need a moment to clear our minds and re-set our mental strength. No matter what the reason is, there comes a time when we all need to surrender our minds.
This album takes you on a musical journey like no other. Capturing the ancient sounds of panpipes, tabla, bells, sitar and many other ambient resonances for those who wish to achieve a higher state of consciousness, greater focus and self-awareness through yoga & meditation, or simply to accomplish a more relaxed and peaceful state of mind.
I have attached a mini player for you to listen to a sample of the album so just press play to get away from this mad world we are living in.
The full version of Surrender of The Mind is available on all download sites including iTunes and Amazon.
Please let me know what you think of it, I look forward to your reply.
Ohh also, I was wondering if you're connected in the world of drums, bongo's, conga's, that sort of thing. I might get a friend of mine one for her birthday, her ex smashed her last one because he's a douchbag, but I'm only going to do it if I can afford it and if shes actually acting like a friend at the time.
Well I haven't really been doing too much with my own music lately, recording some songs for a few people, mostly pimping my equipment out for trees and beer. Plus I get a little experience with the machine. Started school online for psych & philosophy 4 days ago. Still not sure if its the wisest decision I can make. I would definitely want to drive down and visit sometime, see a show and make a night out of it.
I've been liking the new songs, it looks like you've been renovating the page today. What nights are there show's at the downright music and art shop? I have been wanting to stop by and check one out again.

"Your new songs are deep, filled with darkness and light and spiced with just the right amount of eerie to make them a delectable treat for hungry ears". At least thats what I'd write if I was a column wrtiter or critic of sorts. I like em! Thanks for the props on "Fanning the Flames" cool work you did with that.
