Originally formed in late 2004, Spirytus are a metal band from Nottingham. Using the dirty, dripping tones from seven and eight string guitars, hard-flavoured slap bass, pile driving drums and bone crushing vocals, Spirytus set out to deliver something a little bit extra than your average metal band. They have been described as a "Full speed car crash between Faith No More and Korn that will leave your bowels rumbling". Their stage show is just as lively and aggressive as their music which has attracted support slots with bands like American Head Charge and interest from industry professionals. 2009 is set to be a promising year for this metal quintet!
