Right now it's just me. I do synth guitars, drum programming and bass sampling on Fruity Loops. My friend Andy from Ancient Damnation and Curb Check should be providing some vocals in the coming months.
Influences
Most of my influences are from old school grindcore (Napalm Death, Carcass, Haemorrhage, Repulsion), old school death metal (Cannibal Corpse, Possessed, Slaughter Lord) and some good old thrash (early Slayer, Exodus, Onslaught). 'Course, I'm not nearly as good as any of the bands mentioned.
Sounds Like
Early Carcass, Repulsion, Onslaught, Possessed, Mortician, Venom, Obituary.
Splatter Fest originally started back in July of 2003 as Cannibal Christ, later renamed Necrosadisticorpse. At that time it consisted of myself and Matt. I did the majority of the music on Fruity Loops, while Matt did a few noise tune and provided vocals. Eventually in January of 2004, we broke up and went our seperate ways. Matt still makes music, and is now in a one man band, Cystem. After the split, I changed the name to Splatter Fest and continued making music. Splatter Fest combined old school death metal, thrash and grindcore into an interesting electronic mix, so fans of old school extreme metal and cybergrind should dig the sound. I'm also looking for a vocalist who can do Possessed, Exodus, Obituary, Rigor Mortis or early Slayer style vocals.
