About SPLATTERHEAD (have now disbanded in Feb 2008)
WE HAVE HAD TO FINISH AS A BAND...BUT WE'D LIKE TO THANK ANYONE WHO EVER CAME TO SEE US(YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE ;)Splatterhead was formed in 2006 out of the reminants of two bands "THIRD FINGER INSULT" & "ZOMBIESTOMP" both of which are now long deceased.. Coke's played in several bands,most notably VIRUS, who toured with the likes of DEATH ANGEL, CROMAGS, CELTIC FROST, KREATOR, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES,OVERKILL,NUCLEAR ASSAULT,CARCASS, ACID REIGN, LAWNMOWER DETH, SABBAT..the list goes on..culminating in a fucked up festival in Leeds called CHRISTMAS ON EARTH in Dec '88' opening up for MEGADETH.
After fuckin about gettin stoned &pissed in France for 5 years playin guitar for ODDMONGERS & MR-E, he then brought together the biggest bunch of drunkin stoned Scotsmen that ever graced satans toilet!!! for a healthy dose of thrash from a tight little vagina of a band called"PRODUCTS OF FEAR!!..with the growls of NODDY (give me back my lung) DOIG (from EYE) sounding like an athsmatic ant carrying heavy shopping on vocals to GREGOR from SONS OF SLAUGHTER taking the helm before joining the aforementioned band!
Coke has on his travels played or helped out some interesting characters in the music buisness which makes him a right old fucker but a talented old git!!!Were busy writing stuff for our long awaited demo...but were all brain dead so that will take time but worth it in the end i can assure you.. Weve been allowed to leave the retirement home for certain gigs that aren't too taxing on our feeble bones..but we'll kick ass when we play then ask for oxygen..lol We plan in the future to do many gigs&hope to tour with several bands who are already interested in our versatile sound.
ZOMBIESTOMP would have continued but we failed to find a vocalist capable of producing the quality we needed,but now weve got a new sound,a new drummer SHAUN from the band P.S.V, who notably played with a well known force in the metal industry called GODSPEED...We are ready to do battle with an eager awaiting public just itching to jump around to our twisted,mangled menagerie of sounds that make your ears wanna wear headphones &put on a pair of comfy slippers!!!! No we fuckin dont wanna sound like R.A.T.M!! (even if we do in places)...Anyway sounds will be posted in the near future..so you will all get to hear what we sound like..drop by..keep checkin for our music.. comments will be noted &duly replied to!!!any fuckin sarcastic shit & well send the crew round!!!!! ANYONE WHO ADDS US, WE WILL CERTAINLY SEND THEM A THANX!!!!!!Thrash on!!
