Splendid Dead is a collective of Glasgow bands (including Bad Bad Men, Messrs, The Dirt & Gash Import among others). Splendid Dead have curated/promoted shows in various Glasgow venues (including The 13th Note, Nice N Sleazy, Pivo Pivo & O'Henry's) since 2007.

The Mutant Music club night is our first regular residency, on the third Friday of every month at The Flying Duck, (7 Renfrew Court, Glasgow: map below!). Each night is curated by a Splendid Dead band, and features three or so bands and resident and guest DJs from 7pm till 11pm, followed by the Back Tae Mine club. Entry is £4 on the door. There are also wonderful visuals and extra special mystery features mysteriously and specially imagined for each individually curated evening.
N.B. 'Mutant Music' is an umbrella term that covers Death's Head Country, Crack Jazz, Sexx Pop, Acid Soul, Gay Punk, Nazi Disco, Globular Noise, Junkyard Racket, Red Metal, Night Rhythms, Fuzzy Doo-Wop, Glam Country, Gross-out Jazz, Hexxx Pop, Bubblegum Prog, Fey Punk, Gypsy Disco, Grind Opera, Trapped Noise, Junkyard Gospel, Voodoo Metal, Anarcho Synth, Gubstep, Pig Beat, Industrial Blues, Unfunk and Duuud.
