An example being we’ve been asked to "pull-out" the Chernobyl Charity Gig @ Rockers, as some folk are led to believe the bands split up. Again, not true. So, Don’t Believe The Lies! The new Line-Up is melding together nicely and it’s good to be practicing regularly again. We’ll be hitting a Stage near You sooner than you think.
The essence of the band has been on the go for twenty years now, but found itself incarnated as Splinter in 2001 as well as a solid line up. Since then we’ve been about. From Ireland to Eastern Europe, not to mention the bands home town Glasgow. Having a recent change in Line-Up, people should know Splinter has not split up and is still going strong and will be playing all listed dates. Stay tuned for the shows as the ’Space is slowly but surley updated. Any corrospondance for gigs an’ shows drop us a line or leave a comment.

Respect! What awesome ideas are floating about here. Well put together and wow. Stunner stunner. Wow. We like the stuff you have got going on here. For real. Loads for the ears and the eyes which is what I like. And you will find just that on our my space. We do fusion mixes and have posted new videos. One we have given you a sneak preview of is a radical combo of Rihanna with an infusion of Peter, Bjorn and John. Rebooted, filtered, animated, shaken, cut, pasted, shown to the dawg who barked his disapproval, and smashed with a great hammer, deconstructed and turned into Young Folks with Umbrella. Another newey mixes Coldplay and Kraftwerk and if that's not enough there's a new tune called Scooby Mama which moulds Fun Lovin Criminals to a Scissor Sisters. Watch out for our SeX DwArF v The Cure v Tori Amos tune which is almost ready to be unleashed. We would also recommend the Lauryn Hill v Marvin Gaye fusion. If it don't move ya yo dead. The myspace is getting new tunes and vids regularly. So let us know what you think. What floats your boat. But then pah I am not worthy! Thanks for the add and your interest. Love and Peace. I sidste øjeblik har kultur- og fritidsudvalget i København valgt at give os 70.000kr at uddele under ungdomskultur.nu festivalen 13-15. februar. Ungdomskulturhuset Kraftwerket har besluttet at smide 30.000kr oven i hatten, så i alt skal 100.000kr uddeles under festivalen.
Snabslanten Målet med snabslanten er at give hurtige penge til unge københavneres projektidéer for, med og af unge. Vi prioriterer nybegyndere og amatører, projekter med små budgetter, ikke-kommercielle arrangementer, debatskabende events og tværkunstneriske aktiviteter. Ansøgninger skal indleveres i projektcaféen under festivalen.
Hvis du har større projekter undervejs kan det også betale sig at tage et smut forbi projektcaféen. Her kan du møde en lang række fonde og andre konsulenter, der kan hjælpe dig gennem junglen af puljer og andet bureaukrati.
Fernisering Ungdomskultur.nu åbner med et brag onsdag d. 13. februar kl. 15 med fernisering for en blandet skare af unge kunstnere. Kom forbi når det kunstneriske kaoskabinet åbner dørene.
Kl. 16.30 åbner Camp X debatscenen onsdag med en forrygende og underholdende debat med fokus på demokrati vs. marked. Kom med og spring ud i en demokratiske speed-dating!
