SPLIT SELF was formed on February 4, 2002, originally as Fade, consisting of current band members BRAD CREMO (Vocalist), AARON HENNING (Guitarist)and BRUCE JONES (DRUMS). In the first month after forming, they went into the studio and recorded their first single, "Fade Away", which brought them immediate attention from 98 Rock who played the song on their Local Licks show and granted them a personal interview with Alex Payne. After steamrolling their way into several local performances, SPLIT SELF was forced to let go of their original bassist, sending them on an enduring quest to find a bassist that would be the perfect compliment to the band.
In 2003, without a permanent bassist SPLIT SELF managed to perform at THE ROXY and WHISKEY A GO-GO in Los Angeles, and complete a powerful 3 song demo. Finally in early 2004, SPLIT SELF ended their long journey of searching for a tight rhythm section and found DON SUPAT. Once again SPLIT SELF was booking shows with large audiences.
SPLIT SELF is back on track. They have recently recorded a 6 song CD and are touring all over California, playing with various bands including WEDNESDAY 13 and more recently 10 YEARS. If you haven't experienced this rock tornado, SPLIT SELF, is the band not to be missed.
Unfortunately Flawless Design had to cancel due to illness, but we are still gonna party like no other!! Come on out and support a good cause!!! See you TONIGHT!!!
