Hold me now.
But not to tight.
Don't smother me.
I can't breath.
Not to loose
that I slip away.
I want to hold you.
Not to tight.
I might smother you.
And our love will die.
I don't want to hold.
You to loose while treading.
Through waters of life.
You may slip away.
And our love drowns.
Let's hold hands.
But not to tight..
That our love goes numb
Touch me gently.
The way you do.
While love burns.
With desire.
In a flame of fire.
Hold me close and love me now.
Yesterday is over.
A new Dusk.
A new Dawn has come.
Be my lover now.
Hold me close.
Hold my hand.
Love me.
Now and Forever.

ARTIST born in Indiana. I enjoy creating hope through vision, as illustrations take form on any canvas (wood, paper, fabric, ceramic, walls)...
When someone asks me..."What gives me the inspiration to create works of art?"...the only answer I have to give is..."I PAINT FROM MY SOUL!"
I don't know what I am going to PAINT...CREATE until I get started...I create as I go...I move and flow with my brush, hands etc...
I don't always start with a pencil sketch...I do what I do because it is me...a part of me to share with you.
My mixed mediums include: acrylic, pencil, ink, chalk, and watercolor...I also enjoy Paper Mache' the technique I use is from shredded paper and make into paper clay wall art.
To finish off my list of talents I love PHOTOGRAPHY...genealogy through photography...writing...poetry..short stories...fashion design...sewing and I am a Cosmetologist (a hair doctor...lol...)
My art is a gift...and also from the instruction from talented teachers through out my school days. I have been in several Art Exhibits beginning in 1977 The Art Salon where I received awards for my works of art.
In 1993 Meet The Artist V was a big show held in the Central Library in Downtown Indy.
I have had art for sale and exhibit in the Women's Auxiliary Annual Art Fair in 1994.
Also exhibited and sold art at Damien Center charity auction for AIDS.
I received an award and my name was entered in the Directory of African-American Artist in 1995.
In 1995 and 1996 I joined writing groups...
Family Genealogy Search, Writing Memiors and a Poetry group.
From 1996 to 2005 I have had works on exhibit and for sale at various locations.
During my fight with Breast Cancer in 2006 I only created art. As works of art piled up...I was directed to and have found mySpace to be a great place to share my works of art... meet Artist...Writers...and Creative People who have committed their soul to the Visual Art Perspective.
My art is an expression from my soul created for you to visually experience the way art is defined through my life, my heart, my emotion.
Eye contact, a creative mind and a art willing heart, read into the story behind the visual creativity in each work of art.
ENJOY!
