I love yoga. I'm a certified yoga teacher, but I work as a secretary. Go fig. I love my job for the time being though. It's great. I work at a foundation with a bunch of PhD's in Neuroscience, which is fascinating. I make sure their planes land on time.
I have been in a relationship with my darling daN since the second winter of 1999, and i'm ludicrously happy. He surprises me by doing sweet things like putting "The Adventures of Milo and Otis" on the netflix cue without telling me. If you knew me and understood how much I love puppies and cute things, you would know exactly how much that meant to me.
I'm not a city person, and i miss living in the country where i can snowshoe to my heart's content, hear the wind rustling through the leaves of lots and lots of trees. I miss the scent of pine needles.
nevertheless, taking the subway to work rules.
I'm not very good at making friends, but a dear friend recently told me that i'm very good at keeping them.
I wish i took better photos.
Food. Can we talk about food? I love food, and I love cooking. We recently went through the misfortune of not having a stove for nearly a month, and it nearly killed me! I have a crazy mostly-macrobiotic diet (yes, i'm still a vegetarian, and no -- i never crave meat), and i enjoy having a lot of variety on my plate. That's hard to do when you don't have a stove or an oven.
I love music, but sometimes silence is golden.
I love New York, sometimes.
I love shoes, but there are really only one or two pairs that i wear regularly. I have too many shoes, and I'm OK with that.
As a teenager, i was always too hot. My inner old man is manifesting, and now i'm almost always too cold. But I have no intentions of retiring in Florida.
My uncle recently said, "whatever you're doing at the time, be good at it." That seemed like sound advice.
You are The Wheel of Fortune
Good fortune and happiness but sometimes a species of
intoxication with success
The Wheel of Fortune is all about big things, luck, change, fortune. Almost always good fortune. You are lucky in all things that you do and happy with the things that come to you. Be careful that success does not go to your head however. Sometimes luck can change.
My plans have changed!! Want to meet up Friday night or something? We could hit up the black bull or somewhere...anything really. woo hoo!! I can't wait to see u!
I drink. You? :-p Its beautiful up here actually! I'm getting settled in with everyone theres always work to go on the house. Where are you? Still in boston?
Hey Lindsay! I just wanted to say hello! Looking through your myspace pics and stuff made me miss you! I was in Boston, your neck of the... woods? And wished I knew your location or number to talk you into catching a beer. So, I know we've exchanged numbers before... I still don't have it. Send it along when you get a chance, bye for now...
Hey Lindz! It was good talking to you on the phone last week...well, this is the Miller Thanksgiving year, so I know I should see you then, at least :-)
