Spookster and The Scaremenots is the a comed - parody alter ego band of the Black Rubber Band. The Black Rubber Band formed in 2000 out of boredom and decided to learn to play instruments. Spookster and The Scaremenots became more than just an idea in late 2006. We were covering a few parody songs as BRB but decided to start writing our own parodies recently. The band formed in Grand Junction, CO but now plays in our basement studio in Ogden,UT.
The band consists of our singer Spookster,Rico on guitar,Don on bass, and Bill on traps with an occasional appearance by our friend Skye, from Denver, on rhythm guitar.

Hello everyone, I'm Rico and play guitars for the band. I used to be in a Punk Band back in the seventies but hadn't played for twentyfive years or so and the guys wanted to form a band it couldn't have made me happier. I really enjoy the challenge of learning new stuff and like the idea of parity songs.
My name is Don. I play bass guitar. I grew up with classic rock but like just about every type of music so I'm glad we're writing our own parody lyrics. Mostly I just enjoying playing music, playing video games, TV and movies, and computer.
