A real haunted house built in the 1930's. The haunt that started it all way back in 1985 is now the start to the tour at Spookywoods.
All New for 2008 - Red Creek Valley Ghost Town - Haunted tram ride where the monsters hitch a ride on custom trams built just for Spookywood's ghouls to get up close and personal. Pyro Fire effects and zombie cowboys through out the Ghost Town Themed ride.
2 Acre Haunted Corn Field where our creatures blend into their surroundings along side high startle special effects. Featuring NC's only 35ft Flame Tower that will help guide you through the darkness.
Spookywoods Walkthrough. This one section contains over 20 major Scenes alone. Once out of the corn you arrive at the massive Spookywoods Castle. The entrance to one of the most unique haunted walkthroughs ever built. You've never seen a haunted attraction this detailed in NC before.
Overall Spookywoods employees over 130 monsters, ghouls, goblins, zombies along side sophisticated animations, high tech special effects, and much more that can take up to an hour to go through...Just Prepare to Scream this Halloween!

I just wanted to thank you guys for another great Haunted Season. I was really sad to see the last group go through but i am looking forward to see everyone on Thursday. You guys are the best.
We loved your Spooky Woods Adventure! You guys put so much time attention & detail into that place it really shows! Words could not describe how much fun we truely had! My Favorite part was the castle/woods. Your team of staff was very well organized and things flowed smoothly.Keep up the great work & keep the quest on their toes for next year and we will for sure be back!
