Awesome season so far but the horror is just the beginning.
This Saturday night is a VERY special night for the Experiment and we have destroyed people all season long.
Here's what one reporter had to say about their recent visit to The Experiment:
"The Experiment, which had the longest line, was by far the scariest, making use of a well-designed set that included well-used strobe lighting. Here, the creatures came closer to us than any other attraction." - Rebecca Keister, Sun Chronicle, October 10th, 2007
It was great to meet everyone and have a happening haunted time in Boston at Spooky World! I loved dressing as Elvira. I see more Mistress of the dark will be in my future sometime...

DarkWood Manor is a seasonal haunted attraction in Luray, Virginia. The attraction features an original plot involving the fictional DarkWood family. The story deals with the haunting of a house that was built in the 1800s. The house is haunted by the spirits of the DarkWoods, the family who built it.
Leroy Darkwood was a murderous gunslinger who married a half-Irish half-Native American witch. The two had a daughter who willed the house to the Miskatonic University. All along the house has exhibited signs of the supernatural and has been the site of fatal tragedies from the ghosts of Leroy's victims to the death of an entire circus troupe on the DarkWood property. This October do you dare accompany The Virginia Association of Paranormal Specialists as they enter DarkWood Manor in an attempt to unravel the mystery of Darkwood's iron coffins? Also this year join Darkwood Manor for their Plan 9 Weekend and meet Ed Wood film veteran Conrad Brooks!
The Dark Destination of the Week for 9/21/07 is the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery & Old Dutch Burying Ground. With Halloween just around the bend, why not pay a visit to the home of the Headless Horseman? The Old Dutch Burying Ground is the fictional burial spot of the Horseman in Washington Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. The Sleepy Hollow Cemetery was built around the Burying Ground and Irving himself is buried there. A wonderfully gothic cemetery with immense mausoleums and numerous memorial statues, the cemetery offers tours and becomes part of the town's many Halloween festivities every October. The cemetery has a number of famous eternal occupants including the recently newsworthy interment of Leona Helmsley. I'd make a joke about one more witch being added to the cemetery, but comparing that woman to actual witches is insulting to them...not to mention that it might upset the spirit of Hulda, the cemetery's resident "witch". "...He pictured her catching the back of her waistband in her thumbs and bending over to slide them down. The material stretching a bit more, to accommodate her widest part… then receding, as she slid the pants down her long legs. Her cheeks expanding and spreading open lusciously, freeing themselves from their imprisonment, as she folded completely over to caress her ankles…
A strange wave seemed to carry him deeper into his memory… As his brain made the obvious associations, the letters of a name fell into place like pictures in a slot machine... Kat…
The name snapped him back into the Lemans, “Wait, wait. Nevermind her… why are you going to Exeter?”..."
"...The jaw was like a razor-lined vise as it clamped into his left shoulder. Tainted saliva from the drooling mouth seeped into the fabric of his shirt and was forced into his violated flesh. He winced with pain as the teeth tore through his clothing and ripped away a superficial chunk of skin. Blood coursed out of the wound and soaked the surrounding area of his shirt. The lifeless man chewed on the stolen meat for a moment and spit it out like a wad of old gum. An effervescent surge of pain ran through his arm as he held him back. He pressed his Glok under the chin of the man and pulled the trigger..."
