The title of the album "Trading Dreams" was used in the annual review 2008 of Premiership football club Willem II. The clip is regularly shown on the big video rolling in the stadium and official events of Willem II.

When you're making a list of the most promising Dutch bands of the moment, you simply can't ignore SPOONER.
Winner of many contests and triumphant shows at Dutch nationally podia & festivals such as Liberationfestival Rotterdam, Paradiso Amsterdam and support-acts for Golden Earring, Intwine & Claw Boys Claw are just some of the achievements of the Dutch rock band SPOONER. Originally formed in 2002, SPOONER offers high-energy music composed of a combination of elements from pop, alternative rock and stoner. In 2008 they release their second album Trading Dreams, which could very well be the band’s big break.
SPOONER, a Dutch 4-piece high energy rock, indie, pop band, was founded in 2002 by Danny, Rob, Daniel and Peter. For 4 years running, SPOONER did a lot of touring, several support-acts for Golden Earring and they won many newcomer contests which has given them direcly the reputation to be one of the most promising bands in the Netherlands.
In 2006, their debut "SPOONER" was released: a very melody driven, hard rocking, feel-good record. The album gets great reviews and SPOONER was associated with big names as Foo Fighters, Creed, Nickelback, Velvet Revolver & Papa Roach. Also SPOONER was chosen as a very promising Local Hero by LIVEXS magazine this year. The video that goes with the first single 'Over' was picked up by Music Television stations MTV, TMF and The BOX!
Having built up a strong reputation as a live band & huge fan base over the last years, SPOONER decided to make a second album. This recent album 'Trading Dreams' is released on April 2008 in Paradiso (Amsterdam). This CD received enormous critical acclaim from press and public and gave them the opportunity to play (as headliner) in bigger clubs and also do shows (as support) with some of the greatest Dutch artists as Intwine & Claw Boys Claw. The band gave also many interviews and rocked several performances on radio stations such as RTV WEST, KINK FM and 3FM & they just let the music speaks for itself. And it does - loud and clear.
