The monk stretched out his arm and clutched at empty space.
Sekkyo said: "Is that the way? But after all you have not got anything".
"What then", asked the monk, "is your way?"
The master straightway took hold of the monk's nose and gave it a hard pull, which made the latter excl.. "Oh, oh, how hard you pull at my nose! You are hurting me terribly!"
