Sportclub is a band born in 2005 when destiny melted together
Enrico Negri (Dübby düb, Noise), Mauro Pulga (H-Strychnine, Dübby düb),
Samuele Palazzi (Mizooria), Davide Zena (Coocoomacastik) and
Domenico Zannino (Omerthà).
What comes out is a balanced mix of acoustic and electronic music, thanks to a groovy contrabass, a dreamy accordion and a deep trumpet constantly
surrounded by the rhythm of the acoustic guitar, all together with the sound of the machines: laptops and synths rules in Sportclub' song's bases!
After two years between recording studios and live shows has been released (March 2008) the first album "Catchy" produced by Baraonda Records.
Last but not least the arrive in the band of Claudio Pilati (drum in Act Noir), followed by Giuseppe Risitano and Luca Selvaggio, who gives the live set a powerful beat that you can't stop shakin'!

Gli Sportclub nascono nel 2005 dall’incontro di diversi musicisti provenienti da realtà molto eterogenee: Davide Zena (tastierista nei Coocoomacastick), Mauro Pulga (ex cantante degli H-strychnine e chitarrista dei Dubby Dub), Enrico Negri (ex cantante dei Noise e batterista dei Dubby Dub), Samuele Palazzi (bassista e contrabbassista nei Mizooria) e Domenico Zannino (tromba negli Omerthà).
La musica che ne esce è particolare ed unisce strumenti acustici come contrabbasso, fisarmonica, tromba e chitarra acustica a sonorità elettroniche create con sintetizzatori, campionatori e computer per dare vita a canzoni curate, stravaganti e irresistibilmente “danzerecce” e ballabili ma anche molto orecchiabili grazie alla voce di Enrico. I diversi concerti che hanno portato in giro per l’Italia hanno riscosso un gran entusiasmo da parte del pubblico. Hanno anche partecipato nel 2005 al Buskers Festival con un set tutto acustico “di strada” molto riuscito e seguito durante l’evento. Negli ultimi mesi, sospesa l’attività Live, si sono dedicati alla preparazione del loro atteso lavoro discografico (uscito il 28 marzo 2008 per la Baraonda Records) e alla preparazione di un nuovo Live con diverse canzoni mai proposte fino ad ora, molte canzoni riarrangiate in chiave più elettronica e il tutto con un groove molto più presente. Per questo si è unito al gruppo Claudio Pilati (già Act Noir) alla batteria, seguito da Giuseppe Risitano e Luca Selvaggio, aumentando così anche l’impatto della band dal vivo.

up 2 now, i am doing something new regarding my coming new music .. its is sea-related theme , and maybe it will be very different from the style of "the distance" at least i hope so ... do u like sea ? free feel 2 tell me ur feeling .. maybe u can enlighten me something again..
