About me:
Circle K at San Francisco State University presents "Spotlight Against Diabetes" a nonprofit showcase bringing performers from all walks of life together under one cause, to cure JUVENILE DIABETES (also known as Type-1 Diabetes). The
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for juvenile diabetes and helping those who are suffering due to it. THESE KIDS NEED OUR HELP! Diabetes kills one American every three minutes and is the seventh leading cause of death reported in the U.S. The risk of death for people with diabetes is about two times that of people without.
Each day 40 kids are diagnosed with diabetes in the U.S., thats more then 15,000 innocent children that are under the control of this life threatening disease! They need all the help they can get. Please come out, enjoy the show, and support these kids.
These kids repeatedly prick themselves through out the day to test their blood sugar levels and inject insulin just to stay alive. But taking insulin does not cure diabetes or prevent the possibility of its eventual and devastating effects. You can make a difference, donate an evening, its not asking much, but it can make a difference.
Check out the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at www.jdrf.org and learn more about how we can make a difference!
100% of the proceeds will be given to charity!
