Spotlight Theatre was founded by Pamela Reckamp in January 2001 to provide an artistic, dedicated venue for the well-trained St. Louis actor. We hire both union and non-union professionals to work on all facets of each production.
Each season the spotlight will focus on a topic, idea, or circumstance allowing us to explore different viewpoints and utilize materials in all genres. Past themes have been women, marriage, hell, and overtures. In the 2005-2006 season, Spotlight Theatre began focusing on its T.E.E.N. (Theatre Educating and Entertaining Now) programming.
