SPOTO was born on October 31st, 1982 in Rochester, NY. Through the influence of his parents, SPOTO has adapted to enjoy several styles of music. With the unfortunate death of his grandfather in 1993, he found his only release was through music. While performing a year later, SPOTO passed out, from an overdose, and did not return to the stage again until 4 years later. Then, on August 1, 1998, along with an old musical acquaintance, the band, entitled SPOTO, was finally born. Just one month later, personal tragedy struck again as his first true love left him for another man that she was secretly dating. Left in shambles, SPOTO once again turned to his music as an outlet for his emotions. As he sank deeper into his depression from his heartache, he began to write music with a much darker tone, a more violent message, and a darkened image. In January of 1999, SPOTO secretly attempted suicide as the result of his depression. As November of 1999 came around, SPOTO found himself in another extremely destructive relationship. What resulted was another attempt to end his life. Before going through with it, SPOTO talked to someone instead of taking it out on himself physically again. He was finally convinced by his good friends that getting help was the only solution. After many months of counseling, SPOTO was finally ready to face the world positively again. Since then, through the support of his friends and family, SPOTO has produced three successful albums, performed amazing, shocking shows, and built a recording studio, to call his own. Since his suicide attempt in 1999, he has donated some time to talk to high school students, to discuss methods of help, that are available to suicidal teenagers. In September of 2000, SPOTO reconciled with his first love, and since then, they have been in contact every now and then. As for the music, he continues to write, produce, record, and perform. In March of 2002, SPOTO decided to reunite some of his oldest musical acquaintences, and performed one of the most shocking, yet, an amazing show. However, three months after this amazing show, SPOTO was evicted from his home, and forced to live on the streets for about 2 weeks. He then decided, for the well being of himself, to relocate to Tampa, FL, where he now resides. Since this point, SPOTO has released 3 albums, and has grown to become Tampa's youngest shock rock musician.
