Spot On Entertainment's Interests
General
Running my business and knowing that somewhere along the line I have met people to whom I've made a difference and unbenown to them they've made a better person of me by me knowing that.
Music
I like everything to do with music and I've spent my whole life surrounded by it one way or the other. From the time when my father bought me my first guitar to present day I've always been able to lose myself by listening to my favourite artistes or just picking up my guitar and strumming away. Well that's what life is all about isn't it?
Movies
Walk the Line and The Jazz Singer are my favourites. I'm not really one for sitting down and watching tv and I'm not a cinema fan - my home cinema - when it's working - is all I need.
Television
Same goes for the telly. I'm a bit choosey about what I watch and if the truth be known I'm a documentary type of person. I like to know what makes people tick so anything autobiographical or biographical suits me. I also like progs like Britain's Got Talent as it reminds me of my early years.
Books
Same as films really. Biographies and Autobiographies. I'm still waiting to read all about Nelson Mandela, Margaret Thatcher and Sharon Osbourne - but I guess there's still time.
Heroes
I don't really have a hero. I think the truly inspirational people in my life would have been those that never took me for granted, never wanted anything from me yet remained loyal and true friends.
I don't believe that people should be put on pedestals. I believe true heroes show their true colours when it matters most. And they ask for no recognition or reward.
About me: I'm just one of those private kinda people who like to keep themselves to themselves yet correspond with others and exchange thoughts and ideas to try to make the world a better place. Sometimes I get it wrong. But there again I'm only human.
Who I'd like to meet: I've always loved songwriters who deal their cards straight from the heart so I have to say that my number one man is definitely Leonard Cohen.
Some may find his music slow and boring but in my eyes it's inspirational. He's written so many songs that to me have personal meaning and I guess it has a knock on effect in the way I lead my life.
If ever there is a song that everyone should listen to, soak in and feel the warmth and inspiration it has to be 'Hallelujah!'- covered by so many yet never loses it's meaning.
