    Spread the plague is a young band from Munich, Germany. Five Members: Vocals are done by Ilja Sotov, two guitars, Daniel Handke and Marco Lever, Bass is played by Andal Demmelmair and the drums are killed by Korbi Heigl. The band exists since 2008, in the beginning they wanted to to simple Metalcore - so they did. They had two shouters, another drummer, another second guitarist, and another bass player. During the first two years, there were many line up changes - in the end there is only one shouter and one guitarist in Spread the plague who were there when the band was founded. So the beginning was not easy but now the band fits perfectly. With this Line up the band has done a Demo(including „Dorian Gray", „New Era" and „Cursed")in the year 2010. In 2011 the band recorded an EP with eight songs. It will be released at the end of 2011 or early 2012. The new stuff is more autonomously. Influenced by Melodic Death Metal and Hardcore bands, the band tries to combine the two Genres with Powerfull different Blast - Beats and with very slow Mosh Pits, Guitars are downtuned, almost never play the same(actually only Break downs), the bass sounds like a bass has to sound and the shouter combines three ways to scream. The vocals balance from angry Hardcore shouts to dark Death Metal Growls to high -Core Screams. The band says they make music to play live, so the songs include many powerful Break Downs.
