Icelandic indie-pop band Sprengjuhöllin stormed into the Icelandic
music scene in 2007 with their hit-loaded debut album. They spent 27
weeks at the top of the charts and the album was a major commercial
and critical success. The band's success isn't hard to explain. With
their catchy, radio-friendly music, profound lyrics and an energetic
live set, pretty much everyone from art school hipsters, mechanics and
housewives to convicts, critics and politicians jumped on the
bandwagon. Now with two albums under their belt, Sprengjuhöllin is
currently in the process of re-recording their songs with English
lyrics.
As you can see from my profile, I'm trying to spread the word about climate change and the environment in general. Only problem is I can't do it without a little help from my friends. Can you help a friend spread the news? :)
