2006............Tuned Addictions Creates A Show Where There Is A Demand
For some time now, there has been a demand in the western part of Virginia for a good show for people to attend. There has been shows that have come and gone and the last time I can remember DropJaw going around that way was the first WCT where we went to Danville. That has come to an end now that Tuned Addictions has broken the barrier with their show, Spring Showdown. It was one of the hottest one day shows that we have attended with the local Roanoke, VA K-Mart parking lot being overfilled with 250+ rides. And these weren't bootie rides that were out representin'.... there were some really hot vehicles out on display. You could tell just by being there that everyone has been waiting for this one for a long time. There was a huge variety of rides from the minis and pavement layers to the custom compacts and some off the hook hotrods. Not only was there plenty of rides to check out but if you had that junk in the trunk, they offered a stereo contest for you to check your levels. The weather was perfect all day other than it being the hottest show we have been to all year. The show was for a great cause also, with a guest speaker speaking on behalf for The National Breast Cancer Foundation. Proceeds from the show were donated to the charity and once again, our show scene helped out a great cause. We have learned from Tuned Addictions that this will be an annual event and next year will be extended to a two day show. This is one for your calendar so be sure to look out for it next year, right here ..Jaw.
Thanx to the members of Tuned Addictions for having us out to cover and be a part of Spring Showdown.....cant wait till next year.

2007..........Holding The #1 One Day Show In Va Title Still
This show for us is a five hour trip one way. And just like last year, it was worth every second that it took us to get there. Even though is did some raining throughout the day, it didn't hold anyone back from coming out and representin' at VA's #1 one day show. People came from all around to attend this show and why not......it offers a classed out show, bike stunt riders performing all day, a stage with live bands bangin' it out all day and enough vendors to make all happy. They offered cruize passes also so you didn't have to park out in the spectator lot, you could join the fun as well. There were also a number of people who got there on Friday and got a chance to hit up the local cruize strip that night. They have a pretty strong local cruize scene even without the rides that were there for just the show. We also got a chance to get together with some friends and get some draggin' action on Friday night too. This show has proved once again that one day show can be a slammin' as an all weekend event. We wanna thank the Spring Showdown staff for everything and cant wait till next year.

2008.................THE Largest Show In Virginia
We have been labeling the Spring Showdown show as the largest one day show in VA for a couple years now. Even though it was still a one day show this year, we can't hold it back and label it the same way. Whether one day or weekend event, this is the Largest Show In Virginia....period. This year brought out alot of the people that normally come to the show, but the word has spread about this event and there were a whole lot of new rides that were in attendance. Alot more trucks and bikes were also a part of making this show so great. The classics and hot rods were also in effect. We have a feeling that there is nothing that is gonna change except the fact that it will get bigger and bigger every year. We are very glad to be a part of this event and will be at many more in the years to come. Thanx to everyone who came out and let us shoot your rides and to all the hotties that we shot at the show as well. Be looking out for bigger and better things from this show in the future....and we will be right there to help support it.
Thanx to Justin and the crew for welcoming us in year after year....we WILL be back.

Till next time, keep pimpin'. DropJaw
