About me: One of the last American drive in theaters, and one heck of a roadside attraction. I think we are most famous for Old Murphy, a 1946 Chevy cab-over truck which carries a 2 ton potato, and of course the always delicious Glady's burger. The Spud was built in the spring of 1953 by Ace Wood and opened it's doors July 3rd 1953, We are celebrating our 55th anniversary this year! It has been in the Wood family for the majority of those 53 years. Let's all meet under the stars with friends and family for some making of great memories.
