I love the selection of SPUD classics on your page, but I'd love to see 'Creep' up here (if possible!).

I dunno, i just feel a personal connection to that song...

*LOL* I'm sorry about the facetious Gravel Samwidge comment, but I used to flat with them in Melbourne. They actually won the JJJ Unearthed comp many years back...

No, technically, 'Bruise of Sorts' was not a Gravel Samwidge song, but a song that Pauly and Spinsky recorded with me on my crappy old 4-track at said Melbourne flat. It's, more or less, irrelevant anyway because it bears little resemblance to the Solid Gold Hell version apart from a couple of lines of lyric. Our version sounded more like The Butcher Shop (on a VERY bad, VERY slow day!!) than Glen & Matthew's version, as good as theirs is...

Sorry about the tangent, but vaguely interesting I guess.

Cool to see S.P.U.D. up here. I remember you guys being better than Sonic Youth at The Powerstation, and just as good as Gravel Samwidge at The Tote in Melbourne :)

Give my regards to the velvet toned one if you see him.

Thanks for the add...
