  • Heroes

..There's a lot of people in this list. Basically, anyone I pass on the streets are my heroes. People I don't even know exist are my heroes. It sounds kinda cheesy, but it's true.

Anyways, I'm assuming you want names:

My mom. She's the most amazing woman in the world. Better than Oprah. Mmhmm. lol. I tell her absolutely everything.

The rest of my family too. My brother even. They keep me going when I don't feel like it. I love them =)

    Meg. 'Nough said.

Sav for putting up with my whiny crap and telling me how it is without sparing my feelings. Haha. It honestly means a lot to me. She's changed my outlook on so many aspects of my life and she pushed me to improve my self-confidence.

Ana and I have been friends since birth basically. Even though we go a year or more of never talking, we still talk as though we just saw each other yesterday. Yep. She's one of those. And she's insanely insane, which makes her insanely funny =D.

My soul mate. I haven't met him yet, but I'm sure he'll be my hero one day so I'll just say he's amazing now. lol.

All of my enemies (well... people who are mean to me =)). You make me stronger, and I appreciate it. I don't think I could be better off you, whomever you may be =)

So it’s about that time of the month again . . . get your mind out of the gutter you sicko, there’s no blood or anything
    like
that here, haha. Instead it’s time for your comment section to become
even more filled with useless crap, though within this inane message
there lies a point. It's kind of like those old "Where's Waldo?" books
where there's a ton of distractions that catch your eye and within all
that you're looking for this really lame, bland person, though that
person in this case the distractions are moronic wit and the person is
actually our music that may have been relevant ten years ago but
    probably not, haha!

Anyways, for some reason we keep getting
asked to do concerts which is odd, because nobody goes to concerts
anymore, especially not in Chicago. I had just heard of this "Chicago,"
yesterday and  thought it was made up but we shall see! I've heard
stories about it though, especially on a Saturdays. It's like a ghost
town, I hear. You can actually stand on State Street and watch
haystacks blow by like one of those lame Western films apparently! Not
sure I believe it, but I'm down to find out if you are, so come see for
yourself next Saturday Nov. 28th at Reggie's Rock Club (2109 South
State Street) at 7pm for a 17+ show. As if my underselling of our
    abilities (or lack of

ability) doesn't convince you, there may or may not be breakdancing as well!

    Much
love to all who wasted their time reading this. The tuck in train has
just pulled into the station and the streetlights are on outside, which
means it's time for footy pajamas and bed, haha! Peace.

    Don’t you hate it when
lame ass Rock bands from Chicago, whom you foolishly befriended months ago,
randomly appear in comment form to invite you out to their inane shows as if
they believe you’re gullible enough (you do know gullible isn’t in the
dictionary, right?) and/or lacking in a social life to actually come hang? Me too. Good thing
we’re not much a band or this would be awkward, haha! Awkward like the first
dance between two hormone raging teens going through puberty, haha! Anyways,
yeah it’s us Oui Si Only You in our most impersonal social networking form!
Sorry for getting you all excited to see that you have a new comment only to be
disappointed, like a jilted lover on prom night. Hey though, at least we didn’t
do one of those lame "Do you like me?” things, right?! I don’t think our
fragile hearts could take the answer to that, haha. Any who, we’re rocking
(debatable I know, but is it master debatable remains the ultimate question!)
our last all age show for the year out at a splendid little establishment
called Breakaway Lounge in Villa Park (345 West North Avenue) this Friday Oct.
30th at 8:30pm.  We could all perish happily knowing you came out and
mocked our uninspired/downright ignorant brand of music and A.D.D. riddled
    stage energy too! Peace face.

  • Oct 8 2009 3:12 PM

Sooo Hannah, I heard there's a rumor going around in the kooky cyberspace world (which I may or may not have

started) that  this really dope band is going to be rocking a set at
the Underpass in Franklin Park this Saturday Oct. 10th at 3pm and the
Breakaway Lounge in Villa Park on Friday Oct. 30th. So you know, if you
happen to stumble upon someone whom we randomly harass on myspace, let
them know that said band would love to have them come hang and pelt
them with Jello pudding before dropping stupid puns like they're a hero
in a lame 90s' action film. Probably something along the lines of "The
proof's in the pudding!" or something equally ridiculous, but it's
flexible so feel free to get down with your uber creative self, haha.
Mainly it's trying to get as many people as possible to come. Not for
checking out the bands like you'd think, but rather because it's
getting colder outside and times are tough, so it's more so for packing
bodies that can huddle together to stay warm instead of using a heater,
    haha! Peace.

Thank you very much. I actually played right outside of Chicago on my last tour. I have the same songs on Facebook but I like it bc it's a little different from MySpace. I can’t really search with my Facebook page but if you search “The Private Life of David Reed” you can become a fan.
