The Music of Jak Payne, Jazz pianist and electronic musician, aka SPY 815. Having been raised in the heart of downtown Austin Texas, Jak Payne has worked steadily as a live player for the past 10 years. With influences from everywhere, this music breathes soul with its powerful electronic influences. Working wih electronic keyboards became a passion, an obsession, that is very difficult to translate to a "live music " situation. The recording studio is the perfect vehicle to capture the phrasing and powerful symetry within every complex waveform.
