Spy Optic was created by a group of innovating action sport athletes and enthusiasts seeking a new visual perspective on technical eyewear products. Spy’s core values are not bound by tradition, but based upon the ideals of our young-at-heart pioneers.
Born and bred in San Diego, California, Spy Optic is deeply rooted in action sports and our athletes dominate their respective professions; surfing, snowboarding, motocross, skateboarding, wakeboarding, and skiing.
Our sunglasses, snow goggles and motorsports goggles are designed in Southern California, are tested and approved by our roster of world class athletes, and are built in our own factory in Verese, Italy.
Our roots may be in Southern California, but our vision is global.

LEVEL 1 PRODUCTIONS DROPS TEASER FOR NEW FILM ‘TURBO’
Summer is most definitely here, but not for long... Just around the corner, the leaves will change, the nights will chill, thoughts’ll begin to turn to snow, and Level 1’s newest film ‘Turbo’ will premiere this September. Spy Optic’s ski segment manager and award-winning filmer Josh Berman is at it again, putting the final touches on his newest Level 1 Productions movie.
‘Turbo’ will not give your car an extra power boost or shave seconds off your quarter mile- but it might, just might, change the way you think about skiing. Turning it up a notch once again, Level 1 followed their crew of dedicated skiers throughout North America during the unforgettable 2008 season.
Featuring the talented Spy Optic Ski team lineup, Tom Wallisch, Ahmet Dadali, Mike Hornbeck, and JF Houle get down to business with urban adventures across the Midwest and Quebec, Stefan Thomas and Wiley Miller shred neck deep pow and bring their brand of freestyle to technical terrain from Wyoming to Alaska, and Corey Vanular, Travis Redd, Liam Downey, Mike Clarke, and friends huck and jib their way across North America via mind-blowing HD cinematography.
