About me:
Briefly, I'm an atheistic, libertarian transhumanist. I'm currently studying from home, and would describe myself as an autodidact. In January 2006, I founded an organisation called Pro-Test in order to provide grassroots support for medical research on animals and educate the public on the subject.

For more information on me, see my Livejournal profile.

MySpace is crap, by the way. Blame my friends for dragging me on here. If you want to contact me and actually want me to respond, either go to my blog, or e-mail me at Sqrrl101[at]hotmail[dot]com

you shouldn't say that.

That, and the Blaster, and the MedPac, and the Speeder.

^^ Well, maybe not all of the above, but there will be sacrifices to be made.

the world may be absurd, but there's SOMETHING there, even if only a warped perception of mine. all consciousness is consciousness of something.

so; my statement "i am" requires no objective viewpoint, and is made under the slightly gonzo subjectivity of my mind. i know the world exists because i am conscious of it. i know i am conscious of it because otherwise i couldn't have written that sentence - it's circular reasoning but that's the only kind that works in the ultimately closed circle of the universe. i accept the unreality of everything, but assert that it's irrelevant. i have been thrown into existence, by the standards by which i define existence. life is what i choose to make it, and i claim the right to define my own existence by my own standards by virtue of being in existence.

anything else is wishy-washy philosophy.

yeah, the irony of being called weird by an anti-conformist didn't escape me, hahah.

Had already seen it on LJ ^^

Ok, I just need to put some time aside to write some details on the campaign, but the image is in my mind.

And your equipment is far above the amount you're allowed, unfortunately, but we'll sort that out.

Huh, I didn't know that you were a Rand fan. (Well, might have read it somewhere but forgotten.) That's cool -- there are far too few people who read Rand, let alone like her work.

I've grown up with people who read/like Rand, but I've only just recently started with the Fountainhead. Have you read that? If so, which would you say is better: the Fountainhead or Atlas Shrugged, and why?
