THE FIRST ANNUAL BRYSON CITY BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL

Featuring an all day bluegrass event, arts and crafts vendors, food, drinks and a silent antique auction. The Festival starts at Noon on May 31st, 2008, at Swain County Center for the Performing Arts at Swain County High School, Bryson City, NC.

SAFE is hosting The First Annual Bryson City Bluegrass Festival to benefit victims of domestic violence. The event starts at noon and will end around 9pm. Headlining is "Pine Mountain Railraod" featuring local talent Cody Shuler. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Opening acts include local groups: Mountain Faith, Reel Tyme, Eternal Hope, Rye Holler Boys, and Cornerstone. These bands all play bluegrass, gospel, or a bluegrass-gospel mix. We would like to thank these bands for their time and support to SAFE. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Additionally, crafters and artists are encouraged to call to reserve a booth for the event. There will be no charge for crafters/artists to set up a booth, as this is the inaugural event. However, if crafters/artists would like, they can make a donation to the organization. All art/crafts must be preapproved or will not be allowed to set up. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
SAFE will be selling lunches/dinners, snacks, and drinks. Food will be sold at additional cost. Tickets are not required to eat or go to the Arts & Crafts Fair section of the Festival.
