SQUALORA is the result of a lifetime of anxiety attacks and moodswings; machete-core destruction formerly known asASS-END OFFEND (imported from Missoula, Montana). We started in 1999, engaged in numerous tours throughout the u.s. as well as a tour in Eastern Europe, and we released many records on POISONED CANDY RECORDS and WANTAGE USA. After AEO's temporary demise, Dan and Matt formed temporarily with Dave Parsons (from such great bands as Disgruntled Nation, Humpy, Sasshole) to play a few shows under the name NAZGUL before making the move out to this community we refer to back home as "West Missoula". And as of October 2009 Brent will be back with us. Welcome back Brent! So this is our concoction of heavy, fast, slow, pissed-off distortion that is very much in the vein of AEO. We have a LP/CD out now on DEFECTOR RECORDS, WANTAGE USA & REPETITIVELY FUTILE RECORDS. We are a band because we share common interests, or to be more exact, common frustrations with this sick world we're all forced to be a part of. This music is made for the therapeutic release that is achieved in the process. There is something comforting about having someone scream in your face for 30 minutes. It reminds us that not all communication needs to be made through these superficial computer screens! We are dedicated to D.I.Y. culture and we love playing house shows so let's go deaf together!

Hey dudes. I think Syd and I are gonna be coming up on Feb 21st for that From Ashes Rise reunion show.
