Square Trio is the amalgamation of three thriving songsmiths who collectively and individually create euphonious music for the enjoyment of humanity.
Because each member of the band writes music independently and also contributes to the collective songwriting process, Square Trio frequently invokes a variety of inspired musical styles, including:
Jazz-Rock-Dance-Trance-HipHop-Folk-Funk-World-Fusion-Experimental.
This all-inclusive approach to the songwriting process stems from a general philosophy maintaining that great music is made in every genre. Limiting a band to a certain “style”, therefore, stifles a band's creative potential. Square Trio aims to broaden its own musical horizons, provoking imagination and encouraging innovation.
To maintain a fresh approach towards songwriting and performing, the members of Square Trio often take turns exchanging instruments or playing multiple instruments simultaneously. This unorthodox practice culminates in the dynamic spectacle of Square Trio's live performance. Brimming with versatile creative ability, Square Trio will continue to make music that impacts and entertains an extensive array of listeners worldwide.

"A Dollar for OBAMA...Bands for Barack !! "
I started this to help my friend's jazz band, who is a big OBAMA fan, who will be playing every Tues. thru Election Day. As you know, I'm promoting & booking the volunteer bands (some are new, others are more seasoned. reggae,trance,hiphop, funk,experimental..A Variety!). "Cooler Than Ghandi", reggae/rock...had their first gig anywhere, in the opening spot on 7/1 for Another Flavour band...and the place was crowded (with a little help from their friends ;), which is great for this small venue and on a Tuesday nite in DC!! They're playing again This Tues. 7/15. Would you consider doing something like this at your gigs?...to collect a "Dolla" for Obama's campaign...or post this link on your page for people to donate very easily?
