Influences
We've been influenced by all sorts of music. Its not possible to avoid the influence of any music you listen to...But in particular, we have been influenced by the twin strands of traditional music (both through informal sessions at festivals and through field recordings of traditional musicians), and through our friends in early music. Anne Marie has played with medieval band Misericordia (www.misericordiamusic.co.uk - MySpace site coming soon) for more than a dozen years, while Thor is fluent in the ballad tradition of Britain and Ireland.
