About me:
I'm a displaced New Jersey-born boy, raised in Texas, and riped in New York City, who has found his way to the Left Coast. Only moments ago, I hobbled up the Peninsula from San Jose to San Francisco, where I now hang my hat. Almost a year after following the Village People's directive to "Go West", I'm living in SoMa with the Bay Bridge in my backyard, a chihuahua named Miss Cleo, and a suitcase of memories I almost left behind.
Thanks to my A.D.D, I'm into all sorts of things, usually all at once. One moment I'm learning to compose landscape photos, and the next minute I'm learning to play the mandolin.
I lean extremely left politically, and am saddened by people who vote against their own interests. Overall, I'd say I'm the kind of person that finds intrigue in life's most boring little details. I like to examine my life and everything around me because I think there's a lot to take in. All of those conflicting inputs can be overwhelming sometimes, but at the very least, boredom is not one of my worries.
When I'm not ranting to unwilling parties, I'm ranting at http://www.squeakytoy.net. My contribution to the "blog-o-sphere" is not all that significant, but it's far more descriptive than a text box with a limited character count.

Who I'd like to meet:
I'm looking for compelling conversation and reckless antics with like-minded individuals. I admire: fearlessness, open-mindedness, bravery, spontanaety, passion, ambition, motivation, social prowess, and general intoxication with life and its challenges. An evil and infectious sense of humor is a plus, but only with an active awareness of consequences. Pushing grandma in front of a train may be funny for the first 3 minutes, but long-term, it's probably not wise. Wisdom. That's another good trait. People who know that they don't know everything, will probably never know everything, and can be at peace with that. People who sing in the car and in the shower. People who like to discover new things. Oh, and high-rolling casino gamblers are good too.
