SQUEEZED are a London based, six piece line-up that pay tribute to the fantastic music of Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford.
This is not a mere novelty band these guys can play. This show is musically excellent, professional and humorous, in fact all the elements which were Squeeze's trademark.
SQUEEZED perform the ultimate tribute to legendary British Pop/Rock band Squeeze at sell out gigs all over Great Britain featuring superb sound-alike vocals, acoustic/electric guitars, keyboards, and drums in a mesmerizing two hour full-scale electric show.
From classic hits such as: 'UP THE JUNCTION' - 'COOL FOR CATS' - 'LABELLED WITH LOVE' - 'TEMPTED' - 'TAKE ME I'M YOURS' - 'ANOTHER NAIL IN MY HEART' - 'IS THAT LOVE?' - 'PULLING MUSSELS' (FROM THE SHELL) - 'GOODBYE GIRL' etc... to a selection of choice album tracks,
this show is a must for everyone who loves the music of Squeeze
Here are some comments about SQUEEZED taken from the Glenn list Yahoo chat group:-
I have seen Squeeze, Glenn and Chris a number of times but only found out
about the Glenn list last weekend at a Squeeze tribute band (Squeezed) gig in
Nuneaton from Pete - he does Glenn's guitar and vocals - very, very good indeed
and a top guy - sounds like Glenn, plays like Glenn and even looks like Glenn -
even made a big effort to meet the audience afterwards - a great band and a
fantastic evening - just like the real thing - best wishes,Calvin
Went to see SQUEEZED last night in mansfield.
What can I say????
Their set-list was astounding, over 2 hours long, consisting of all
the hits, plus a few Album tracks and B Sides; Elephant Girl, Vicky
Verky, Picadilly etc.
The only difference to the ACTUAL Squeeze, was that they had the
same band line-up for more than 10 minutes....hee hee
Definately worth going to see when your getting those "Glenn's Not
Touring" Blues.
The newly recruited Kevin AKA "Chris Difford" was spot-on as was
Pete "Glenn Tilbrook".
And aparently, the guys were staying in the venue over
night with B+B, maybe their rooms had en-suites from a stranger.....
Check out their web-site at www.squeezed.info
A very Very Good Night.
Cheers
Jarvis
Hi All,
I've just had the pleasure of working with Squeezed the band that pays tribute
to the fantastic music and songs of Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford. Not only
are these guys amongst the nicest bunch of people you could ever hope to meet,
they are also an extremely talented group of musicians. Not only do they play
classics such as Up The Junction, Cool For Cats, etc... etc... they also play
stunning renditions of fan favourites such as Last Time Forever, and If I Did'nt
Love You plus choice album tracks.
This is so much more then just a "Squeeze Greatest Hits" show and if you get the
opportunity to see them in your neck of the woods be sure to check them out...
You will be impressed! Come to think of it why not nag your local live music
venue to book Squeezed.
Squeezed recieved a wonderful reception/reaction and the feedback has been
tremendous and we hope to see Squeezed back in Ireland in the near future!
Cheers then, to Pete, Kevin, Dave, Keith, Martin and Paul for some fantastic
gigs and keeping the memory of that great band, Squeeze very much alive!
Regards to all,
Karen
They're very good Mitzi, I'd recommend you see them as soon as you
can. Keep up the hard work guys. Audience were OTT though, I thought we were gonna have fisticuffs between 2 drunken females at the front at one point!

Hi Pete,I saw Squeezed at The Nags Head last saturday - bloody awesome mate!!I have been a Squeeze fan for over twenty years and have seen Squeeze/Glenn/Chris - and met them all - several times - Squeezed were brilliant!! Excellent set with great album tracks as well - I never thought I'd ever hear Separate Beds live again!! The band sounds the same as Squeeze - probably tighter from what I remember - I am a musician so I know what I'm talking about. You not only sing like Glenn and play guitar like Glenn but you look like a younger version of him!! Great harmonies with the Chris Difford guy.You are a top front man - loved the Nuneaton football scarf - lovely touch and went down very well - I went to the RMI game as well - but I nearly shit myself laughing with the Tong Ting from Tooting Little Britain quip when the stupid cow jumped up on the stage - alot of guys would have just thrown her off immediately.Probably the best tribute band I've seen and I've been in two - let me know of any more dates up this way mate - I'll be there with more friends next time and I'll keep an eye on your website.Loved it,
Calvin
Hi Pete, many thanks for signing the guest book. It was a really enjoyable experience on Saturday at The Nags and you certainly haven't seen the last of us. Great to hear some of the album tracks too. Looking at your dates on the site I see you haven't been to the Moses Gate in Bolton. We are there next week so I'll have a word. If you pass me a number, I will pass it on to Ray, the proprietor, then you can sort the cash side of things with him personally. It's a good gig plus its quite close to us here oop North so it'll save me sleeping in the car after watching you lot..! Great band. See you again buddy.Regards
Paul (State of Quo)

I recently co-wrote a series of sketches for Paramount Comedy (Europe), six of which are now airing on Paramount Comedy Channel as part of 'Short Cuts Shuffle'. There are nine all together and all of them will soon be on at random in between the main programs for the next few months, and on Paramount's website; http://www. paramountcomedy. com/shortcuts/ in due course.
They're called 'Ewan & Thingy' and feature some nice animated knobs in the opening titles, deftly constructed by yours truly.
Hi, I hope you are well . Ihave just added a live track , from a gig, no editing , just a straight through recording with my band and I . It is called This Man. Would appreciate your feedback a lot. Much Love J Marie Cooper
wow i'm so excited! okay...you catch those deals shootin to other people? me, literally i believed it had to be a joke..., but i did one last week, for a free cash card worth like $500 for Macys, and amazingly it did work i couldn't believe it. you should click here and grab one too, see what i mean...?
Great to have you on board and finding out more about you and your music.
I am a Freelance Media Consultant and also write for a music web site called Bristol Rocks. A tribute section will be added to the web site, very soon. As I like most tribute bands I will be doing features and profiles on the tribute bands/artists who are willing to be interviewed by me.
I don't bite.... honest, and I'm not into belittling what you do as some journalists have a habit of doing. For most of you it is your living and as long as you do credit to the artist/band you pay tribute to and the audience love you then I'm happy to give you some positive coverage. PLUS, when you play Bristol would love to do a review or two as well. Just let me know when you have a gig in Bristol or the surrounding area and I will do my upmost to be there!
So if you are up for the challenge of being featured on the web site in the future then contact me.
All the best Kathryn
PS: Kacey is a nickname just in case you are wondering.
