About me:

I am a biologist, teacher, and scientist. As typical for scientists, I spent most of my life not believing in God or spiritual things. I considered myself an atheist, and was never drawn to dogmatic religions, including christianity (although I grew up in a christian household). However, I was interested in ZEN budhism and later in paganism. In December of 2008, I began developing an interest in shamanism and druidry, which led me onto my current spiritual path. My dealing with spiritual matters culminated in a sudden awakening in June 2009, which hit me out of the blue. But it was so strong that there was not way of denying it. Through this major event I became aware (and there is no doubt about it) that I am a lightworker, rainbow warrior, wayshower, or however you want to name it. Although my path does not seem to be very clear at this point, it begins to unfold more and more with each day passing. Through my entire life I wanted to help people (through science and teaching) and this feeling becomes stronger and stronger. I also see myself as a "systems buster", who stirs up things to make people aware and challenge their belief systems. I am working towards integrating both these aspects into a coherent form (if thats possible ;-). As a lightworker, I am much interested in the gaia hypothesis, shamanism, druidry, higher states of mind, consciousness, 2012, Atlantis, Lemuria, extraterrestrials, love, peace, strange and non-traditional world views, conspiracy theories, innovative ideas for the future of mankind (spiritually, economically, and environmentally), the venus project, alternative healing, and still in science and biology. Genetic engineering, "junk DNA", synthetic biology, and the "biology of belief" interest me most. And before I forget, I grew up in Germany where I spend the first 35 years of my life. Now I am living in a rural community in Iowa. I visited many european countries, as well as Canada, the Hawaiian islands, Costa Rica (which is just beautiful), and many places in the U.S.
