2012 will be celebrating 20 years of squishmusic! 20 yrs ago sitting in my room listening to the radio (after misbehaving) 3 artists came over the airwaves that changed my perception & appreciation of music. These were 808 state, Tomita and JMJ. Within a few months I was again sitting in my room, this time tinkling rather amateurishly on my first electronic keyboard playing along to Radio 1! I've been tinkling the ivory's, button pressing and knob twiddling ever since! =P (please resist the urge to respond to the 'knobby' bit. Yes I know its tempting)!
