Sridhar believed that his Guitar was his tool for taking him along an extremely personal journey of musical expression. Ever since childhood, he was mesmerized by Music. Early lessons in the Mridangam (indian drums) introduced him to the magic of rhythm, but in his late teens, he was more attracted to the Electric Guitar. Inspired by a lot of Rock, ‘Metchul’, and (teenage angst), he taught himself how to play this versatile instrument, progressing intuitively, while deriving inspiration from Great Artists like Joe Satriani, Andy Timmons and Dave Martone, until he reached a point when he could compose original material with considerable ease. This sparked a burning desire to compile an original body of instrumental work in his own inimitable style and publish it as an ‘album’ before he graduated as a Bio-Engineer from NUS, Singapore.
