Lord Ganesha, the second son of Lord Shiva and Parvati, is perhaps the most worshiped god in India.
According to legend, once Goddess Parvati, the consort of lord Shiva, created a child's effigy out of clay. Enchanted by its beauty and overcome by motherly instincts, she gave life to it. thus Ganesha was born. She wanted to take bath and clean herself. Before going for bath she instructed Ganesha to guard the place and not to allow anyone inside.
Soon lord Shiva returned home and the dutiful Ganesha, not knowing Shiva, blocked his path and refused to let him in. Lord Shiva, the supreme trinity who never had his path blocked by anyone, was furious and cut off the head of Ganesha and entered the house.
Needless to say that goddess Parvati made a scene! To appease her Shiva wanted to bring Ganesha back to life. Unfortunately the chopped off head was nowhere to be seen. With the goddess making a racket behind him, lord Shiva asked his men to go in the northern direction and bring the head of the first living being the can find. They soon returned with the head of an elephant. Shiva attached the head to Ganesha's body and brought him back to life.
The ruling deity of astrology, he is also the lord of learning and the lord of obstacles-hence the name Vighnaraja. When pleased he removes the obstacles from your path on auspicious occasions and creates obstacles on inauspicious occasions, and vice versa when displeased.

I began with some holly prassad offering for a dearest friend of mine and my own birthday feast. Three days of preperation of turning some raw beans into a sacred offering to Kaumari! Bliss of a thousand years did this bring me and the feast to sacred to be spoken of! As well some vegetables prepared traditionally in the way of Seva of cooking prassad devotionally. As well I have my Kaumari and my Lingam on a seperate place with a vessel of wooden matchsticks. To realize the benefit of this is to realize that Kaumari stands for we the human beings to know only of the fifth worshiped human beings as Gods and that all others are equal. A first of a series of writings about The Many Aspects of Shiva in the ways of Kali - Aum Shri Shiva - Aum Shiva - Aum Kali - Aum Kaumari Shiva of the Kali way of understanding the great illusion of life itself. In the way of fait, revolution and karma. This aspect of Shiva is an aspect that helps people undertand the nature of breaking free of degredation in a sanctified way of worship decent. Of the fifth level of the final devotional transidental meditation is this level and mean of worship. Of the lotus and of the closest one can be of darsaan to Shiva in this way. With the fourth other aspects of Shiva, in order, are the depths and distances of devotional transidental meditation. The devotion of sub consciouse meditation simultaiously of Chaktic Yoga of the souls chakra. Together this brings harmony and bliss into existance. Where as Prayer brings joy, devotion brings motion of a divine way, devotional meditation brings absolute silence in a benevolant way. Devotional yoga of the tantrik way is of the chakra's of the flesh with fifth postures and focuses that allow one to explore spirit and mortality in a devotional way. With Transindental meditation one seeks to and of way of moments of bliss discovers divine nature and the oblivion of ones mind. The Void is of devotional yoga and the abyss is of devotional meditation. In devotion one explores their dominal mind or their venfull logical self. In prayer one simply discovers their feelings. The distance of the Lotus combined with Sub consciouse meditation is of expertise and of comfort. There are but six faiths one can have of their soul. The Mountain of faith, so large that one could never, even in darssan way be so close to Shiva. The Hill a second enormous amount of faith. To the boulder of next. Followed by the large rock. After this one see's a small stone. The final type of faith, and sixth type of faith is of a grain of sand. Too see now how a grain of sand is one who is of natural faith

God, Lord, Almighty God know thy name and know they honor. Admiting that the pain is gone for the bowl has run dry and I thirst not for pains of Babylon but know I seek refresh and sober trust. Can you be with me know Lord, to help me not provide for they who are idols, in any way. Can you be with me now God, for I to know no longer shame of partaking in idolitry by way of filling the bowl of they who are idols. Please take me now from the role of unwholesome and deliver me to the world of yours. Almighty God know I am humble and of grace, and know I speak words that are clear and of truth. Sacred truth who knows peace of life of absolute faith, bring me kindness to day. I offer you a piece of my day and night and I say to you sacred true Uriel, be with me and my fait. Know of me and know of my honor and valor. I say to you noble peace, bring me to love today with a note of heavens grace. I offer to you know for you to know that I am aware, my true wish and my true dreams. Bring to me love and know I, in a humble way, bow to you in the way of prayer. Oh sacred Uriel, except my pain, my confuscions and my hope for yesterday, now and tomorrow's length to be of harmony and of karma of grace. Blessid are you sacred servant, blessid is your peace and your protection. Bringing things to the way of worth and gather in a whole way is the end of roads that lead to false comforts. When I speak of false comforts I speak of becoming one who smiles fully when one truly wishes to smile in truth. This creates what is known as abyss un wholesome or oblivion unwholesome. When gathering up a tone, gather a solid tone of the truth of one's soul, gather not a tone in premeditation. Now is the greatest time to start seeking love of the way of the highest place. Love is not social and societal placings that are won and lost with gates and dress that conform unparrallel with the highest road and they who walk upon it. Know of sight and seeing but know not of seeing and speaking being of two different manuscripts. Allow yourself the freedom of knowing that you are worthy to be loved by the highest of five, Lord, ALmighty, Lord of all Lords, The Great Spirit and God. Allow yourself to see not the future, for fait is not until the moment arises. Offer your hopes to who you worship and offer your dreams. If you have known not true love in life, offer your curiousity. Seek not Lust as comfort and know there are no subspecies that exists, not amongst humans or any other. Forget not to address all discomfort of heart. None shall ever seek one who demands to be treated in a way that you must always act as you are not in order to be. One must never seek love from one who is not gay or bi outwardly, this loss is not true and it is deadly to seek this. When one goads, one is sick. Goading is when one makes a sexual advance on some one with no intent of love. Many see that love might spring from they who goad, only in illusion is this true. Only in truth do people who come to terms with life and living with another who is the same sexual orientation as they.
The Four Prayers - From the Book I'm writing Quasi
Positive Prayer - asking for positive change, asking for new growth asking for help in your life.
Absolute Prayer - asking not but bringing things up, in absolute prayer one asks not for good nor bad, one simply addresses things with no opinion either way. As well, devotioal choring around the house, yard work. Say a small prayer before you do your dishes and offer that time of labor. A truth of breaking free of heart pains caused. Devotional sits, take a moment and breath, say a prayer first and sit for as long as you see fit.
Negative Prayer - asking for things to change that are bad, bringing things up that are horrable and asking for people to leave, situations to change. Devotional silences, take a day or a night and be silent, begin with a prayer.
Almighty Prayer - a combination of all three, a writ or quick note of addressing a situation that arises in your life, to your shepard as well, an absence or going with out for an amount of time, an offering of money, an offering of a relationship, an offering of the hope you have for someone to advance or grow. A surrender of a relationship, a surrender of a day, a week or a year. A full surender to The Lord, The ALmighty, The Lord of all Lords, The Holly Spirit or God, a surrender of self. Total liberation comes from this, and a new beginning! As well, devotioal food offering and devotional food preperation. Always begin with a prayer when making food and even in a slilent moment offer all food.

Well, thanks for answering my prayers. Last Saturday I stopped into a gift shop and bought a necklace with a colorful pendant of you, a lot like the catholic pendants of the saints. I also bought a small statue of you as well. On sunday, I visited the Lorretto Chapel in Santa Fe, took some pictures and visited the chapel's gift shop. No, they don't sell Ganesha items. But, I did by a lamenated prayer card with the image of Saint Joan of Arc in front, and a prayer to her in the back, and also bought a silver necklace with a Joan of Arc's pendant with it. As always, I'm grateful to you for you have made many of my prayers come true. I feel that maybe you could be like a patron saint for me.
