Im Srikanth a.k.a Srik . I founded Wattabottles back in 2005 along with Swamynathan a.k.a Meswamy at school when we we just 16 years old.
We started out recording songs at home at posting them on the internet and slowly started gathering some attention.
Soon Adhi ( Tamil Rapper ) and Shasank a.k.a TNUK ( Beat Producer) joined our crew and we became one of the pioneers of hip hop in India releasing more than 50 songs( as mixtapes and singles ) , generating thousands of downloads across the world and creating an online fan base and since then there's been no turning back.
We do music in 3 languages ( English , Tamil , Hindi ) and have worked with many notable artists from India and across the globe. We have performed in countless stages and clubs across the state. We have lent our voice to various Tamil and Telugu film songs . These are our credits so far.

Currently I'm doing my final year Mechanical Engineering in a "reputed college" in Chennai and music works out to be a "part time job" . Its kinda tuff managing both , cuz at times i'll be having a studio session late at night and an university exam the next morning , but I've learned to juggle between these. Once I graduate , I wanna be involved in this industry fulltime as an artist , producer and music marketing personnel and that's the the way I want to live the rest of my life.
Everytime I get a mail or call from someone who says they like my music , that makes me the most happy and thats my driving force . I cant think of any other job that'll satisfy me this much .
When time comes , I wanna set up a record label give a chance to other upcoming Indian artists and make Indian hip hop go global .
I dont need to be swimming in money but if this industry gives me enough to sustain I'll be happy. I wanna spread a message through my lyrics and be remembered as a "real artist" rather than "just another rapper".
I've come a long way and i have a longer way to go before I reach my ultimate goal. 2009 seems fresh with oppurtunities for us and I can predict several "turning points" in our career this year . So we hope for the best and prepare for the worst. The sky is the limit!
