good to know you're in Los Angeles... dig, on Friday, March 30th we're doing a Beatnik Film Night at the Egyptian Theater on Hollywood Blvd, featuring Curtis Harrington's 1961 flick "Night Tide" (starring Dennis Hopper & Linda Lawson), two early-'60s shorts on the Venice Beat scene, plus our own one-hour slide show of Beatnik coffeehouses and Jazz joints from Topanga Canyon to Laguna Beach 1956-1966 (some Hollywood ones too).
