Sr. Mandril nace en el Estado de Mexico el año 2000 con Ramsés Ramírez y Germán González fusionando ritmos y elementos electrónicos con instrumentos acústicos y eléctricos como guitarras, bajo y percusiones, voces tribales y muy melódicas, sampleos y loops, logrando asi una mezcla de colores, sonidos e influencias que van desde el acid jazz al ambient y del lounge y funk al bossa con un movimiento ritmico progresivo y una rebanada de house ..................................................................................................................................................................................................
Después de lanzar en 2005 su álbum debut homónimo y haber obtenido muy buenas críticas de medios especializados, Sr. Mandril lanza su segunda producción en febrero del 2008 llamada Terragroove con los sellos Intolerancia y Discos Konfort que cuenta con 11 tracks, producido y grabado en Media Luna por Ramsés Ramírez y mezclado por Ramsés Ramírez y Gerry Rosado. El álbum se caracteriza por su fina mezcla de géneros como el funk, acid jazz, son y rock con elementos, ambientes y ritmos electrónicos y latinos

Sr.Mandril was born on 2002 when Germán González and Ramsés Ramírez decided to mix their ideas on the creation of this project. This way the electronic elements are mixed with acoustic and electrical instruments such as guitars, bass, keyboards, percussion, sax, trumpet and voice, creating a construction of colours, sounds and influences that go from acid jazz and ambient to latin, and from lounge and funk to trip-hop with a progressive rhythm and a slice of house. ..................................................................................................................................................................................................
After releasing his first album on 2005 with great comments of specialized media, Sr. Mandril releases his second album in february 2008 named Terragroove including 11 tracks, produced and recorded in Media Luna by Ramsés Ramírez and mixed by Ramsés Ramírez and Gerry Rosado. This new album is a very fine fusion of genres like acid jazz, funk, folk and rock with electronics and latin percussion.
