Who I'd like to meet:
About SSDP at CSU

Students for Sensible Drug Policy advocates for the reform of drug policy in accordance with common sense, medical science, and human rights. Drug policy legislation should be commensurate with the actual harm caused by a drug in our society. SSDP seeks to educate the community on all aspects of drugs—legal, political, economic, social, ethical, and medical, so that they may critically evaluate official misinformation and ultimately effect substantial changes in drug policy.

Membership is free to anyone. Members should be open-minded, non-judgmental, and in agreement with the purpose of SSDP-CSU and its national affiliate. Colorado State University’s recognized student organizations shall not deny membership to any student on the basis of race, age, color, religion, national origin, gender, disability, sexual orientation, veteran status, or disability.

ANYONE in the local community is invited to join SSDP-CSU, but only CSU students will be granted the right to vote and/or hold office in the club. Join our group on FaceBook (search for SSDP at CSU).

I couldn't believe it when I read it, but on a you tube comment I read it and it said that Obama was considering legalization if he got a million hits on this number that they are giving out!! I called it and it's 100 percent legit! All you have to do is listen, and push pound when they tell you to, and that's it!! So please, take one minute and call this number and push POUND!! SAY YES TO LEGALIZATION! Sound's like this is coming straight from the Obama Administration!! CALL NOW!! 973-409-3274 Call now and VOTE YES BY PUSHING POUND!!! We need a million hits!! 973-409-3274 Thanks a lot!! SPREAD THE WORD!!!

There are five petitions total!! Make sure you let all your friends know, and blog these petitions anywhere you can!! We need people to get involved and blow these petitions up!!! I want OBAMA TO HEAR US!!! Thank you!!

Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) introduced H.R. 1466 on March 12. The bill would eliminate all mandatory minimum sentences for low-level drug offenders.

It would also give courts the option of placing offenders on parole or suspending their sentences, and it would limit federal involvement in low-level drug prosecutions

Just days after Attorney General Eric Holder denounced the Bush-era tactic of raiding medical marijuana dispensaries, DEA agents in San Francisco broke rank and did just that.

Demand answers from the Obama Administration about the Bush Administration allowing COWARD DEA AGENTS TO STOMP PEOPLE RIGHT RIGHT IN THE GROUND!!!

Although Washington, D.C. passed a ballot initiative to allow medical marijuana use in 1998, with nearly 70% of the vote, Congress has thwarted the will of D.C. voters and prevented the law from taking effect.

Help MPP overturn this injustice. Please push Congress to allow D.C.'s voter-passed medical marijuana initiative to go into effect.

Join MPP's ongoing campaign to fight funding for the White House drug czar's wasteful, misleading, and ineffective anti-marijuana campaigns. Please urge Congress to cut funding for the Office of National Drug Control Policy.

From 1978 to 1992, the federal government ran a program for medical marijuana patients called the IND Compassionate Access Program. As a result, three patients, grandfathered into the program, still receive medical marijuana from the federal government for the treatment of serious illnesses. Please help urge President Obama to reopen this important and compassionate program.

This one I added at the end, but this is just a petition to strictly legalize marijuana, but it's on change.org it's a very good site for marijuana users to get their opinion out there!! Stay educated and don't let anyone tell you any different!!!
