The members of S-Sence are Touchy & Nocci. We are fraternal twins. The easiest way to tell us apart is that Touchy got longer hair & Nocci got shorter hair. We were born in Yokohama and grew up in N.Y., Decatur GA, and Tokyo. We love HipHop & R&B, and our music is also influenced by classical music and Asian Pops. The Album "Get Closer" can be purchased at iTunes Music Store (Japan) now. We made several CDs in the past, however we finally felt free by making this album.

自己紹介文
私達S-Sence--エッセンス--は、双子姉妹の仲良し------デュオ。似ているようで全然似てない。だって二卵性双生児だもの。でも食べているものと睡眠時間がほとんど同じだから身長と体重はほぼ同じ。簡単な見分け方。妹の「のっち」はショートボブ。頭が「の」の字。姉の「たっち」は超ロング。「た」の字とは全く関係がない。たっちは自分が虚弱体質であると豪語するくせ、健康checkに行けば優良な結果。「たっちぃ〜、本当に虚弱か--」--by のっち--。のっちは長靴をカッコイイとNYC滞在中４足履き潰した。雨の日はもちろん、晴れの日も長靴。「不思議な子ね」--by たっち--。お互い理解に苦しむところは多々あるが、それを乗り越えて一緒に暮らし、一緒に音楽活動を続けている。
New Album 「Get Closer」
　今回のアルバム「Get Closer」を聴いた感想を早速頂いた。その中でとっても気に入った言葉があったので早速ここで紹介。それは「シームレス--つなぎ目がない--」という言葉。
　S-Senceのバックグランドは単一ではない。色んな要素が立体的絡んでいて、一言で表すなんて全くをもって無理。であるからにして、今回のアルバムは明らかにいろんな要素が入っている。「懐かしさ」と「初めての感覚」、「日本語」と「英語」、「たっち」と「のっち」、「R&B」「Hip Hop」「クラッシック」「アジアンポップス」といった音楽のバックグラウンド。こういった要素がシームレスにブレンドしている。二人が曲それぞれで表現したいものを、冒険心たっぷりに自分たちの持つ背景からいろんな要素を引っ張り出して形にしていったのだ。これがシームレスと言ってもらえると嬉しい。
　二人はR&B歌手といわれているが、本当は「ジャンルS-Sence」にカテゴライズされると思っている。　今回のアルバムはS-Senceがほとんどの行程を手掛けているため、S-Senceと親しい友人も「今回のアルバムは今までの中で一番二人の像に近い」という。私達が自然体で曲作りに臨めたのがこのアルバムに表れたのだと思った。
