The Barbara Goleman High School "Sight and Sound of Gold" Band Program consists of many talented musical and visual ensembles. The Sight and Sound of Gold Band Program includes the Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, Marching Band, Color Guard and Winter Guard. Each of these groups perform throughout the year in various venues, concerts, festivals, evaluations, and competitions. Many students participate in multiple ensembles within the band program. The Goleman band is under the direction of Ms. Susana Lalama.
The Barbara Goleman Marching Band is a 4 time FMBC State Finalist.
The Barbara Goleman Band Program Currently includes a total of 150 members including all bands, percussion, and Guard.

Hey! My names Marilyn and I'm your 09-10 Executive Secretary. Expect a lot of friendly phone calls from me keeping you updated on what's going on. hey guys ive been flooded with texts saying when are we going to start......its finally here!!!! we are starting rehearsals again on wed july 8th from 5pm to 8pm. come ready to work and ready to give these bands a run for their money. go over your check list (black shorts, white shirt, water bottle, towel, instruments, sneakers (no converse or vans), heart, and most importantly an open mind) i cant wait to see you all. ive missed you all so much...... lets knock'em dead :)
