Interests

  • General

    Many things interest me from scrapbooking and photography, to sociology, psycology, spirituality, metaphysical studies, etc etc. For topics that interest me I do alot of research and end up with a lot of questions lol. Hobbies other than those include baking, cooking, candlemaking, tarot reading, cross stitching, writing, walking in the woods, at the beach or in a park. On occassion I let the inner child come out to play, color, swing on swings,jump into a pile of leaves ( though I haven't done this in a few years hmm) and can be mischievious ( but in a good way) at times. Again if you wish to know more... just ask :)

  • Music

    All music except for the later 50's and all of the 60's. I'd rather have the mp3 player, the radio or the tv's music channels playing than the tv in most cases and what I am listening to is what I need at the time. For example tonight I've been listening to Carter Burwell, Mozart, Jim Dooley, Debussy,etc etc. It truly does depend on my mood and what I need at the time. I am musically inclined playing the piano ( currently and since I was five) though I've only had a year or two of formal training, clarinet, flute, trumpet and drums which I had plenty of training in school for. I was in concert, symphonic and marching band after all lol. But now a days I mostly take what I hear and transcribe it onto keyboard which I play every day.

  • Movies

    I don't have any favorite movies atm. Though I like action and comedy movies best. And yes I cry during sad movies and scream during scary ones lol.

  • Television

    Ghosthunters, Paranormal State, Destination Truth, all the csi's, the history channel and the food network channel. While I do enjoy all of these shows... again it's rare that I turn on my tv and even if it is on -odds are good I'm working on something else while I'm watching it.whether its research, reading, emailing, writing, needlepoint, cooking etc. You get my point I'm sure.

  • Books

    Too many to list. I think the only books I do not care for are instruction manuals.. face it often times it's a booklet!, lol... and sports related things other than tennis bore me to tears.Well that's not entirely true. I enjoy football as well. Superbowls can be fun too :)

  • Heroes

About me:

Hmm.. I'm never sure what to put here.. let's see. I'm a 34 year old mother of two teenage children.. both of whome think they are going on 21 when in reality they are going on 15 and 14! I'm a very deep individual who is easily annoyed by pettiness, drama, and those who prefer ignorance. I have a brain that never shuts up and a curiosity that will never cease to exist. I am a spiritual individual who's interests include but are not limited to that of pagan/wiccan, shamanism, Toltec, Native American, druidism, and a few others. If I had to label myself I'd call myself an eclectic witch- at least for the time being that is what i am going with. Due to an accident earlier this year many things have changed and are continuing to change for me spiritually, physically, and mentally. Another thing that has changed is my 'gifts' as I call them. My extra abilities. Some have come out of the woodwork to be realized and embraced while others continue to get stronger. This in itself is not necessarily a bad thing however it can be quite discerning at times to say the least. Some I've embraced, a lot I'm just waking up to and am resisting. Hmm guess that would tell you that I am one stubborn being.. which I am! lol. I do like to blog so you can learn more about me thru those as time goes one. A few friends whom are on the other side of the country, and anothe few who are alot closer in terms of living wise. Perhaps one day.... lol. The rest of who I'd like to meet.. I will not be able to meet until I cross to the Summerlands. Who I don't want to meet- actresses/actors, more ignorantly blissed out individuals, most famous people that are alive today, anyone who needs to create drama, hmm well you get the point. lol While I don't mind getting together with friends, or meeting new ones.. I tend to need quite a bit of a lone time for reflection, soulsearching and researching. I am extremely empathic as well as I have a few other abilities but it's the empath part of me that needs to balance myself out through a lot of alone time or as I call it hibernating. lol. But if I had to chose one group of people or even on individual I would like to meet aside from the above mentioned.. Id want to meet someone who chose to forge their own path rather than follow the same beaten and worn down one.
